Jefferson Park provides Seattle residents with 27 holes of golf plus other recreational activities on Beacon Hill.

Jefferson Park Golf course was the first municipal golf course in Seattle and the third golf course in King County. During World War II, the park was used for anti-aircraft defenses and a US Army recreational camp. Parts of the original property became the Veterens Hospital and Asa Mercer Junior High School.

There are several clubs playing out of Jefferson Park Golf Course including Jefferson Park Women's Golf Club, The Fir State Golf Club and The First Tee of Seattle. Check 'em out!
